Second Leg of Our NSW Roadshow

Last month, the Dizon & Associates team hit the second leg of our Roadshow in NSW, covering key regional areas including Wagga, Coolamon, Dubbo, and Griffith as part of our ongoing efforts to support regional businesses in New South Wales. This roadshow is a continuation of our commitment to providing workforce solutions in rural and regional Australia. It has been an incredible experience meeting with over 30 businesses, especially in the blue-collar sector, to understand their workforce challenges and opportunities in the current climate.

Engaging with Local Communities

We engaged with local businesses across various industries facing pressing skill shortages. Essential roles such as diesel mechanics, spray painters, HD mechanics, process workers, packers, and other roles in the FMCG sector are all in high demand. Industries like food processing, general manufacturing, and heavy and light vehicle maintenance are feeling the pinch of local skill shortages, which can impact their growth and operations. At Dizon & Associates, we understand that these gaps in skilled labour can be a significant barrier to regional business growth and productivity. This is why we are more committed than ever to helping bridge these gaps with qualified international workers who bring both experience and a willingness to contribute to local communities.

Key Focus

One of the key focuses of this leg of the roadshow was engaging with local community leaders and stakeholders to understand their broader needs beyond just recruitment. By listening to their challenges and collaborating on solutions, we aim to not only fill immediate job vacancies but also to create sustainable pathways for long-term workforce solutions. We explored how we can provide support beyond recruitment, including pre-departure orientation and cultural integration support for new arrivals, to ensure a seamless transition into these communities.

The feedback and support we received from community leaders and local business owners reinforced our belief that connecting skilled international workers to these communities can make a substantial difference. We have seen firsthand how new job placements can revitalise the local economy, drive regional growth, and create more stability for businesses struggling with ongoing labour shortages. At Dizon & Associates, our goal is not only to connect businesses with workers but to create a positive, lasting impact on these communities.

Building Strong Relationships

As we reflect on this successful NSW roadshow, we’re excited about what’s to come. We are eager to continue building strong partnerships and delivering workforce solutions that support both businesses and communities across regional Australia. Our next steps will focus on expanding our efforts to more regions in New South Wales, deepening our engagement with local leaders, and strengthening our recruitment networks to provide businesses with reliable and sustainable workforce solutions.

Stay connected with us as we continue this initiative to build communities in NSW and support regional businesses with the skilled talent they need to thrive. Together, we can help shape a stronger, more prosperous future for regional Australia.
